Sharing memories is now easy with MemorialMatters.com

New online memorial site launched - users can create a permanent tribute to a loved one by selecting one of the 40 professionally designed templates and uploading photos, videos, memories, stories etc. to share with family and friends.

Aug. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Are your family’s life-stories lost in time? Now there’s a way to pay
tribute to loved ones who have passed on, with easy-to-make, ad-free,
online memorials.

“The growth of online tributes on social media sites demonstrates the
need for more respectful, private outlets for family and friends,”
says Simon Raybould, founder of the only Canadian eMemorial provider.

Memorials on www.memorialmatters.com help the bereavement process by
enabling family and friends to share treasured memories in words and
pictures, through beautiful, one-of-a-kind memorials that can be
accessed anytime, anywhere.

With 40 designer-themed templates to choose from, each memorial is made
unique by people uploading photos, videos and stories. In addition,
users can select soothing background music, light `virtual candles’,
place `virtual flowers’, and more.

Since launched, in collaboration with Toronto interactive agency Giant
Step (www.giantstep.ca), the site has been used by families around the
world.

The main attractions of the site are the professionally-designed
templates, created by Yuriko Zakimi from Design With Purpose
(www.designwithpurpose.ca), a studio that focuses on creating positive
change through meaningful design.

As one memorial creator put it: “Our family truly enjoyed creating a
Memorial for my Dad…especially recounting the volunteer work he did and
enjoyed so much. He touched so many lives! It warms my heart to know
that others will have the opportunity to read about him for many years
to come on Memorial Matters.”
