Biodegradable Food Service LLC (BDFS) is pleased to announce the introduction of “Earth-To-Go” PLA Straws. Packaged in Kraft-style chipboard containers, the new straight straws come in two different sizes.

Aug. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- The unique Jumbo Straws have a larger diameter, and are ideal for thicker beverages such as fresh-squeezed fruit or vegetable juice, blended smoothies, or even pureed cold soups.  The Jumbo Straws are window-boxed in quantities of 200 unwrapped pieces.
The Regular Straws are a more traditional size, packed 250 unwrapped pieces per window-box, and the same appealing green color as the Jumbo Straw.
Kevin Duffy, BDFS’s president, emphasized the commonplace appeal of the new straws.  “Our new line of straws has a more frequent application than some of our other products.  Many people like to have cold beverages at hand throughout the day, so they’ll use our straws even more often than our TaterWare cutlery, plates, and clamshell containers.”  He added that “whether our customers are travelling or just running errands around town, we like to encourage their stewardship by providing products that typify our new motto:  ‘Good for the Earth, Good For Your Family.’”
Earth-To-Go Straw availability (both sizes) is currently slated for mid-August, 2010.
