KC Marketing Consultant to provide social media marketing training for Miami County business owners

Aug. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Kansas City based marketing consultant, Bill Brelsford, announced that he will be taming up with the Miami County Economic Development Department to provide social media marketing training for local area business owners.

Brelsford will be teaching the "Become a Social Media Pro" workshop. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 and will meet for five weeks on Monday nights from 6-9 p.m.

In addition to learning how to set up their social media profiles and use the various tools, students will also learn how to incorporate social media into their overall marketing plan. They will also learn how to use social media tools effectively so managing them does not become a full time job.

Other workshops in the series include:  Market Your Small Business on a Budget, Create a Tri-fold Brochure,  Write Your Own Press Release, and The Quick and Easy Web Site for Small Business.

Scholarships of up to 75% of registration costs are available to qualified participants.
