SPG Managed Services Announces Channel Partnership with WorkforceLogic

SPG Managed Services, the Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management Services division of the Solomon Page Group, announced today the finalization of a channel partnership agreement with Workforce Logic.

Aug. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- "The utilization of contingent workers is one of the fastest growing segments of the total workforce population," said Ron LeVan, Managing Director.  "This population includes temporary workers, independent contractors, consultants, professional service employees, interns and part time workers."  According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, it is estimated that nearly 30% of the American workforce will be engaged in some form of temporary work by the end of 2010.  "Managing the unique processes associated with engaging these various worker types requires companies to have the necessary tools and resources, " said LeVan.

Vendor Management Systems first entered the marketplace in the late 90's, primarily as a tool for being able to burst requests to multiple staffing suppliers during the Information Technology talent shortage.  As the market turned, companies began to view VMS Systems as not only a way for sourcing talent but also as a tool for streamlining processes, and gaining unprecedented control and visibility into the usage and performance of their suppliers and contingent workers.  On average, companies who have implemented a VMS tool into their contingent workforce management processes have reported twice the amount of cost savings.

"We selected Workforce Logic as our VMS partner because of our shared organizational values, high committment to service quality, expertise in Independent Contractor compliance and risk mitigation and a dedicated focus on serving the needs of mid-market companies," said LeVan.  "This partnership affords us the opportunity to leverage our expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition & management with the technology necessary to streamline processes and provide the necessary reporting and business analytics to our clients to inform strategic business decisions."

Dale Yoger, Vice President of Alliance Partnerships said, "Workforce Logic is looking forward to working with Solomon Page Group as an authorized Channel Partner.  The Solomon Page Group has earned a reputation for its expertise in providing clients effective contingent workforce programs and maintaining very high levels of client satisfaction.  Our partnership will expand both companies ability to create and execute contingent workforce strategies based on flexible, value added staffing solutions, VMS technology and risk mitigation services."
