“We can’t be more grateful to Jim Calhoun and his family for this incredible gift.” Explained CTBTA President, Tracey Gamer-Fanning. “When we got the news that he wanted to help us, it was just overwhelming. It’s a huge addition to our most popular event of the year.”

The group hold several other events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for Brain Tumor patients and their caregivers throughout Connecticut. The CTBTA has brought support to local and regional hospitals and research facilities in their efforts to cure this horrible disease and lessen the suffering of the patients and their families. They have raised over $250,000 dollars in just three years – giving it all back to their cause.

For more information on the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance and their work, please visit their website at www.CTBTA.org. The CTBTA’s other events are also listed on the website as well as support ideas, assistance with the process as well as contact numbers for people to reach out and realize that they are not alone. There will be a cure, someday.
