Virtual Law Office Technology Evolving With Total Attorneys

Aug. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Since Total Attorneys acquired Virtual Law Office Technology, LLC (VLOTech) in November of 2009, the company has combined its resources with the drive and vision of VLOTech founders Stephanie Kimbro and Benjamin Norman to improve access to and the flexibility of online legal services.  This week, Total Attorneys is rolling out a whole new look and feel for the VLOTech software.  

The new design is intended to make it easier for professionals and consumers to take advantage of the benefits of virtual law practice.  It has a different look to help the user navigate through the screens. The release of the new design will be accompanied by live online demos, a video series and other resources to help existing and prospective customers make the most of the system and the changes.

Total Attorneys is committed to the development of virtual legal practice and improving the acceptance of online delivery of unbundled legal services.  This new design, the inclusion of one free annual listing in both Attorneyfind.com and Mylawyer.com directories, as well several new pricing options we’ve introduced for VLOTech are just a few examples of that commitment.  Several additional upgrades are in the works for the software, and Norman remains closely involved in development and programming as the product moves forward.

In addition, Stephanie Kimbro continues to provide education to attorneys, bar associations and others about the benefits of virtual practice for lawyers and for the community.  Her book, Virtual Law Practice: How to Deliver Legal Services Online is forthcoming from the ABA, August 2010, and she continues to practice law online, using the VLOTech software, as she has for the past four years.

At the American Bar Association’s Annual Meeting this week, she will be discussing cloud computing and virtual law practice as part of the 20/20 Vision: The Impact of Technology and Globalization on Ethics for the 21st Century Lawyer panel, will address reaching and building relationships with clients in a tech-savvy worlds in Legal Rebels: 10 Ways to Build Your Perfect Practice and Career and will present The Virtual Law Firm: How to Build Your Practice in An Online World with Will Hornsby, Richard Granat and Marc Lauritsen.
