-- Pinchers Crab Shack has recently opened in the popular Gulf Coast Town Center. Known throughout Southwest Florida and beyond for their fresh seafood, Stone Crab claws and fun atmosphere, this location makes eight for the family-owned business.
"Opening in Gulf Coast Town Center is a great opportunity for us, but we’re most excited to be marking 13 years in business in the area," commented Grant Phelan, Director of Operations for the family owned and operated business. “Starting from just a small 12 top location and growing into this is exhilarating for us.”
Founded by Tony Phelan, Grant’s father, in 1997, Pinchers Crab Shack was born of an entrepreneurial spirit and the American dream. Tony had recently moved the family to Florida and been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. But he took a chance and opened Pinchers with 6 employees and hope for a brighter future.
Banding together as a family with a commitment to their customers and quality, the company grew and is now known throughout the Gulf Coast for the freshest seafood and most enjoyable environment. As Tony says, “you never see a baby crying at Pinchers!”
The Gulf Coast Town Center location is open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The main number is (239) 415-4040 and Cam Marstellar is the General Manager.
With “you can’t fake fresh” as the company motto and a focus on quality control, Pinchers Crab Shack is the ideal place to enjoy seafood or take some home to prepare from their on-site market.
