The Lupus Magazine And Film “Love Simple” Announce Contest

Publication and Movie Looking for the Most Imaginative “Lupus Lies”
 
July 31, 2010 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY – July 31, 2010 – The Lupus Magazine and the cast and crew of the film “Love Simple” are searching for the most creative “Lupus Lies” during the month of August in a contest that will award the five best “lies” a free copy of the film and an opportunity to share their “lie” and its repercussions on the magazine’s website.

In the film “Love Simple,” the lead character Seta, who battles lupus, lies about her disease and why she is reluctant to further her relationship with potential boyfriend Adam.  Seta’s "Lupus Lie" was: “I'm seeing somebody else!"

Visitors to and readers of The Lupus Magazine can submit, in 20 words or less, their biggest “Lupus Lie.”  The top five most creative responses will be chosen by the magazine, cast and crew, and posted on The Lupus Magazine site along with their personal stories about their lies, and will receive each receive a free copy of the film.

“Given the response we’ve received from several lupus survivors about how the film mirrors their own personal experiences, we thought it might be an interesting idea to seek out some of other “Lupus Lies,” says Mark von Sternberg, director, “Love Simple.” “We are happy to be working with The Lupus Magazine on a joint search for some of the best “Lupus Lies.”
