Universal Life Insurance - Free Consumer Videos on New Website

July 30, 2010 - PRLog -- A new website by Certified Financial Planner, Mark J. Orr shows how consumers can use universal life(UL)  insurance for living benefits ins addition to the death benefit.

One of the most common uses of universal life insurance for living benefits is to provide supplemental tax-free retiremenet income through policy withdrawals and policy loans (often at a zero percent interst charge).

When properly funded and structured, a UL policy is a great place to accumulate cash savings and while the cash is in the policy, taxes on interest earnings is tax-deferred.  Your money can be taken out on a tax-free basis when done properly - which makes it a very attractive ROTH IRA alternative.

Unlike a ROTH IRA, there are no income limits nor contribution limits to deal with. And there are usually no penalties for early withdrawal like ROTHs have.
