Bluesquare Data Signs £2million Contract With C4L To Provide Co-location Services

July 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The deal, which comprises more than 100 racks over the two locations, allows C4L to take advantage of the dark fibre between the two sites to offer disaster recovery services to its customers.  

The contract with BlueSquare Data enables C4L to offer a wider range of services to clients located at the BlueSquare Data facilities, including co-location and IP services as well as disaster recovery.  With racks in both Maidenhead and Milton Keynes, C4L will be able to meet customers’ varied geographical data centre needs.

Clients realise they no longer need to be situated in London to benefit from high speed and low latency connections, and can keep costs down thanks to the outer-M25 location,” explains Matt Hawkins, managing director, C4L.  “BlueSquare Data is able to provide a range of options, including different levels of redundancy through the tier 3 and tier 4 sites and secure lockable cages around the racks, meaning we now have additional services to attract a new range of customers.”
