PRLog -- The big changes this time around with Tiger are based around perspective and accuracy. The True View mode gives you an extremely realistic first person perspective on the course, while the brand new game mechanics effectively make for the most realistic golf swing this side of the driving range – State’s only experience of this small ball game was the local pitch ‘n’ putt course, but, ever the professionals, we dragged some of our golfing mates around for a night’s entertainment and they confirmed the prognosis, particularly on the Wii version.
There’s the usual variety of game options, from stroke-play and match-play to skins, foursomes, arcade-style battle golf and the chance to take your friends on online, meaning that there’s something here for Tiger veterans and casual gamers alike (the array of difficulty levels on even the main playing modes makes it accessible for complete virtual golf novices). There are even four mini-golf courses, and watching the likes of Woods or McIlroy trying to negotiate the Mini Predator course is almost worth the price of admission alone. Add in all manner of punch shots, flop shots, draws and fades, and the ability to choose a team and lead them to victory in the Ryder Cup and you’re dealing with arguably the most complete golf game ever.
