By: Wayne Hochberg Jim comes to Xpedium with over 23 years of experience in mobile computing, corporate management and operations pertaining to technology growth in mobile applications. Prior to joining Xpedium, Jim was an executive at Stratix launching their mobile software initiatives. Jim was one of the founders and co-inventor for the current product offering from Apacheta, a nationally recognized industry software company in the field service mobile marketplace. Prior to Apacheta, Jim was co-founder and President/CEO of JAS Concepts, Inc. a highly profitable and pioneering company in the then emerging network management and middleware space of mobile computing. Jim has also held positions as VP of Mobile Computing at Cotelligent, and Director of Mobility at Dun and Bradstreet. Jim will participate in the executive team of Xpedium and help develop overall technology, product development strategy and direction so as to deploy comprehensive and highly marketable solutions for sale to Xpedium’s selected target market segments. Part of Jim’s role in the area of solution delivery is to provide leadership in the architectural design and development execution for the continual build out of the Xpedium xMobility platform capabilities to deliver write once run many (WORM) application management. Xpedium’s mission is to deliver to customers a comprehensive and tightly integrated mobility enterprise application platform (MEAP) that addresses the needs of the specific business while at the same time integrates modern mobile technology and automates the mobile workers requirements to follow new and emerging government regulations that insure vehicles are safe and the operators are able. “Jim’s expansive knowledge in the area of pervasive computing platforms, networks and robust application toolsets along with the subject matter expertise gained from years of vertical industry communications and field application development, make Jim an excellent fit for our Xpedium team” said Robert C.
