Fit For Life Fitness Center Presents Free Anti-Aging Event for Gainesville Community

July 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Fit For Life Fitness Center, Ageless Medical Solutions, LLC, West Lab Pharmacy and the  Best Western Gateway Grand are sponsoring a free lecture on anti-aging for the Gainesville community.  “Medical Approaches for Optimal Age Management” will be held at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel on Thursday, July 29th at 6:00pm.
This informative lecture will be presented by Angeli Maun Akey, MD of Ageless Medical Solutions, LLC. She will be addressing prevention and management of our 2 biggest “agers”: Metabolic Syndrome and Hypertension.  Her presentation will include tips on how to burn belly fat, the benefits of eating a low glycemic diet, hormone optimization for men and women, and the importance of stress management on aging.
The event is also an opportunity to introduce the new location of Fit For Life Fitness Center at 4031 NW 97th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606, located just across the street from the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel off Northwest 39th Avenue.
Some of the new services offered at Fit For Life Fitness Center’s new location include massage therapy, an Orthotist / foot pain expert and a new weight management program, Transitions. Monica O’Reilly, owner of Fit For Life Fitness Center believes the information presented in the lecture will help motivate and encourage interested individuals to take a closer look at their health and it’s effect on aging and hopefully inspire individuals to get started on a structured, accountable, physician-backed weight management program.
Featured presenter at the event, Dr. Akey, is a leading internal medicine physician in North Central Florida and a huge supporter of Fit For Life Fitness Center’s programs because of the medical orientation and supervision that her patients receive at the fitness center.
