Zoe Evans' Possible Worlds the Crystal is Valentine St Aubyn's debut novel exploring the themes of the supernatural, multidimensionality and parallel universes. It's a welcome breath of fresh air in the sci-fi and fantasy genres for the teen market.
In a departure away from the familiar characters of vampires, witches and wizards that we have become accustomed to reading in books and seeing on our screens Valentine St Aubyn has created a young, inquisitive, earthy heroine out to unravel the mysteries of her grandfather and the family's hidden secrets. Her explorations take her on a lifelong journey where she learns a few hidden truths about herself and the world she lives in. There is an undeniable supernatural vqzai and mysterious dimension to the storyline cleverly intertwined with parallel universes and multidimensionality which adds suspense and originality. Zoe Evans' Possible Worlds the Crystal is the first book of a three part series.
