In keeping with this goal, the conference is excited to welcome TV One’s Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Karen Wishart, as one of this year’s featured keynote speakers. TV One is a new cable/satellite television network that offers a broad range of lifestyle and entertainment programming geared primarily to African American adults. Ms. Wishart oversees the business and legal affairs department, as well as the human resources department for TV One. Her responsibilities include the negotiation of agreements for all of the company’s business units, as well as corporate governance, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
