-- PPCL’s partner Altremis Limited, the UK’s first Multi-Variable Analysis consultancy exclusively licensed to use its software tool CVE 2.5, has just completed a Lean Six-Sigma project with the First Recruitment Group based in Warrington, Cheshire.
John Urpi, Managing Director of First Recruiment Group, said: “Altremis brought Lean Six-Sigma to life for us and we believe we have developed a number of recruitment industry ‘firsts’. We have been able to reduce our recruitment process time by 60% which will offer us a significant advantage over our competitors but the true value was that it helped us see the wood from the trees and look at things differently.”
George Forrest, Managing Director, Altremis Limited added: “This has been an exciting piece of work. All too often outside the chemical and manufacturing sectors, approaches such as Lean Six-Sigma are met with a weary groan! I believe that this is linked to the misconception that it automatically means job cuts and lots of hard sums. By analysing the First Recruitment Group’s performance with CVE 2.5 we’ve been able to challenge their standard ways of working and develop some radical new approaches.”
Robin Brooks, Managing Director, PPCL commented: “CVE 2.5 is proven as a powerful tool used by over 120 blue-chip companies globally and we’re delighted that Altremis Limited is using CVE 2.5 to help its UK clients across a wide range of sectors be the best at what they do, all of the time.”
CVE 2.5 is the fifth major release of PPCL’s Geometric Process Control (GPC) software and is designed to use existing data to deliver significant process improvements. CVE 2.5 makes it possible to analyse vast amounts of data and translate it into a visual form which is easy to understand.
