Animal art is beautiful and inspiring, generating a deeper appreciation for animals and nature.  Art by zoo animals is part of the animal enrichment process of creating a stimulating environment that addresses an animal's social, psychological and physical needs. Creating art is safe for the animals; the paints are non-toxic and washable. Some animals use a paint brush while others choose to paint with their paws, claws, tails and scales. Artist animals will include flamingos, grizzly bears, elephants, sea lions, rhinoceros and more. Funds raised will support the Zoo’s conservation programs.
