July 21, 2010 - PRLog -- What is considered to be the retro decades of the 1900s?  Is a hip band an accessories for retro attire?  What is an example of vintage fashion?  What years are consider retro?  Retro is a culturally outdated or aged style, trend, mode, or fashion, from the overall postmodern past, but have since that time become functionally or superficially the norm once again. The term Vintage or Retro is used when describing clothing was produced before the 1920s is referred to as antique clothing and clothing from the 1920s to 1980 is considered vintage. Retro, short for retrospective usually refers to clothing that imitates the style of a previous era. Clothing produced more recently is usually called modern or contemporary fashion. Most vintage clothing has been previously worn, but a small percentage of pieces have not. These are often old warehouse, or more valuable than those that has been worn, especially if they have their original tags.  There has recently been a huge demand for Vintage clothing and more and more male celebs seem to be donning the look. Vintage has also massively made its way into the high street, with key items such as denim shirts, bow ties, quilted jackets, heavy/chunky knitwear, flat caps, hi-tops, Retro spectacles and brogues (just to name a few) making their way back on to the scene and becoming massive trends this season.
