Alphasonik Hits the Blacktop at the Nike 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament

July 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Alphasonik is set to participate in the Nike 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament taking place at L.A. LIVE, the downtown Los Angeles sports, residential and entertainment district across from the home of championship basketball, STAPLES Center. The 2nd annual tournament takes place on August 7-8, 2010 and is expected to attract as many as 1,000 teams and over 25,000 guests. Basketball fans will witness some of the best street ballers on the west coast hoping to capture the coveted title of 3-on-3 champion of the tournament which is sponsored by Nike along with partners McDonald's®, Frito Lay, Toyota, SpiderTech and POWERADE.

All registered basketball players and teams will be placed in various divisions based on age and skill levels.
In addition, fans will be treated to a slam dunk contest, a celebrity shoot-out, a 3-point contest, and a lifestyle fan festival with live music, activities, product giveaways, contests, and vendor booths. Celebrities, musicians and professional athletes are also scheduled to attend the festivities.

Alphasonik will be on-hand supporting the highly-anticipated Nike Slam Dunk Contest. The winners of the Nike Slam Dunk Contest will be awarded an Alphasonik customized car audio system including the powerful PM Series amplifier (PM1600DE), the 2-way full-range speakers (PFZ652E), and the 12-inch dual preloaded enclosure (PB212LE). This upgraded sound system, valued at over $1,000 will provide 800 watts of quick and heart-pounding action.
