Bakers Dolphin is reporting record sales from its days out brochure as the school holidays approach with the prolonged spell of sunshine prompting the sales.

Amanda Harrington, sales and marketing manager at Weston-super-Mare based Bakers Dolphin said: “Over the last couple of weeks we’ve seen a noticeable increase in booking for various days out including Alton Towers, Longleat Safari Park and Madame Tussauds compared to this time last year.

“The weather has been great recently and we believe this has led to the recent surge in bookings. Parents want to make sure that their children are out and about while the weather is nice because you never know when it’s going to end!”
