White Plains Hospital Center Names Dawn Webb French Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations

July 19, 2010 - PRLog -- )  Dawn Webb French of Harrison has been named Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for White Plains Hospital Center.

Ms. French has more than 17 years experience as an award-winning television news producer, public relations and marketing professional. She is returning to White Plains Hospital Center where she served as Assistant Director, Community Relations from 2005 to 2008. Most recently she had been Director, Marketing and Public Relations for Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor and prior to that, she served as Director, Stewardship and Donor Relations at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Ms. French was Senior News Producer at WLNE Television Station in Providence,  Rhode Island where she wrote and produced award-winning newscasts including the “AP Newscast of the Year” in 1996. She was also Executive New Producer for WRNN Television in Kingston, New York.

Active in her community, Ms. French has served on the Board of Directors of the Port Chester/Rye Brook/Rye Town Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Rye Rotary, Health Network Committee and the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound.

Her husband,  Richard French III, is President of News of Regional News Network and host of Richard French Live. They have three children.
