Tobias Mohr presents his football art "Azzurri Dancing" on Azzurri Official Art. www.azzurriart.com

July 17, 2010 - PRLog -- According to Tobias Mohr, 31, a football junkie but not a player himself: "Aesthetics on  the green field is a phenomenon". It is incredible how football and player images, especially in the details of their leg and feet movements, can give rise to extremely beautiful and harmonic compositions".  For this reason Mohr does not concentrate on Portraits: "I miss subjects. Players today are all too similar in their haircuts and look. Therefore for me they are not interesting".  For this reason Mohr focusses on the lower parts of the players bodies. "I try to interpret the body details and transfer them into ballet scenes according to my vision".

The collection is composed by 6 artworks each reproduced in limited editions of 50 reproductions. The works are exlcusively available on www.azzurriart.com, the on-line art boutique of the Italian National Football Team.

Biography of Tobias Mohr:

Born and raised in Hochstadt/Pfalz, married, 2 children lives and works as an artist and winegrower in Selzen, Germany.
1993-2000 studies fine arts at the „Akademie für Bildende Künste“ in Mainz/Germany since 1998 work as artist
2000-2005 teaches fine arts at the „Akademie für Bildende Künste Rheinland-Pfalz in der Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz“ in Mainz/Germany
2000/2001 teaches fine arts at the „Fachhochschule Mainz“ in Mainz/Germany Since 1998 many exhibitions in Germany and Europe as in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris and Barcelona

The Works:
Since nearly 12 years I work with the fascination of soccer. As a real soccerfan I am impressed by the special cultur, the atmosphere and the style of everything belonging to the game and its clubs and fans. I picture this world with drawings and paintings as well as small objects, that should show my own view of the whole thing. My interesst is in the social and culturell aspects of football, the whole world including, fascination.
