Linzy Harris a new and rising star in the world of writing will be launching her first novel, ‘Perdita’ on Saturday 24th July 2010 at Frome library, Somerset.  Signed copies will be available to buy at £9.99

‘Perdita’ is a physcological thriller based on the author’s experiences as an epilepsy sufferer and takes the reader through the main characters formative years from teenager to young adult, whilst dealing with a severely dysfunctional family.

‘Tragedy and terror haunts the life of Perdita green, as she grows from childhood to adulthood in her family home – the beach house. Victimized by a psychologically abusive father in her early years, Perdita is a lonely child, desperately seeking love and recognition from her harassed mother.  She seems to achieve this when her mother finally perceives what is happening and evicts her husband, devoting herself to making up for Perdita’s suffering.  Packed with action and psychological drama, Perdita’s story is enthralling and riveting, leaving the reader afraid to turn the page.
