The 2011 QX57 features an improved design that is extremely pleasing aesthetically. The hood and front fenders feature a stunning molded look that compliments the xenon headlamps. The 20 inch rims are stock but there is an option to upgrade to enormous 22 inch rims. The interior of the QX56 is extremely roomy and offers luxurious accomodations for even the most discerning car enthusiast. The leather appointed 3-row seating gives the SUV an impressive look while the 13-speaker Bose system delivers crips and clear sound with incredible clarity that will delight you and your guests. The handy advanced navigation system allows you to easily up to date with the latest traffic updates and weather forecasts while on the road.
The 2010 QX56 easily seats 7 or 8 passengers depending on the seating configuration. 2nd row seating room is supposedly best in its class according to Infiniti. The QX56 has a center console for the front passengers and one for the rear passengers. The 2011 QX56 has plenty of televisions, air-vents, and ample leg-room for all occupants. The luxurious QX56 even features 7-inch televisions in the headrests ensuring many hours of entertainment on long road trips. The newly re-designed V-8 engine now puts out 80 more HP than the 2010 SUV. The V-8 engine is rather substantial at 5.6 liters and the torque output is 413 ft-lb and the QX56 also has the ability to tow an object as heavy as 8500 pounds. The technology in the engine has been revamped with hi tech stuff including VVEL and Direct Injection. The QX56 also features a slick 7-speed automatic transmission. In turn the fuel economy gets a great boost. The 2011 Infiniti QX56 should see over 13 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway. This puts the QX56 among the top performers mileage wise in the full sized SUV range. In comparison, the Cadillac Escalade hybrid gets about the same fuel economy but costs quite a lot more. The QX56 has a range of 253 miles and a gas tank that holds 28 gallons of gas.
This SUV features numerous technologically advanced systems. The Body Motion Control system is powered by hydraulics. This limits body roll while turning which is important in a full sized SUV vehicle. The way this works is by filling the shocks with more fluid. The Hydraulic Body Control System is so advanced that it actually keeps the QX56 more steady than a BMW. The QX56 also offers an extensive array of new and improved safety features. Traction control alone is super important in an SUV, but Infiniti took this one step further with all-wheel drive. The traction control system can split the torque between the wheels in order to send more power to the wheels that need it. The collection of safety innovations all work together to keep the passengers safe. Every occupant in the QX56 gets full air bag protection including front, side, rear, and even roof air bags in case of a roll over. Infiniti's Intelligent Brake Assist checks the speed of the QX56 vs the upcoming model and/or object, then applies the brakes if a collision seems immanent. The lane departure system wars the driver if the model begins to drift out of its lane. The advanced cruise control system smartly enables a pre-set distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. The QX56 also has a system in place to alert the driver if there is an automobile in the sport utility vehicle's blind spot. With all of these incredible amenities, the QX56 is truly in its own class in terms of luxury, extensive amenities, superior safety features, horse power and gas mileage at an extremely competitive base price of $56,000
