Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole first Wyoming property to adopt Clean the World program

July 8, 2010 - PRLog -- (July 8, 2010) Jackson Hole, Wyo. –Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole is the first property in Wyoming and newest resort to partner with Clean the World, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to saving children’s lives worldwide by providing soap and other hotel amenities to help prevent disease caused by poor hygiene.  The resort will implement the program beginning this month by recycling soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion from its guest rooms, helping to contribute to the millions of bars of soap distributed through the Clean the World program annually.
“This program exemplifies the philosophy of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which donates a variety of resources each year to organizations that better both people’s lives and the environment,” said Steve Benson, general manager of Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole.  “We are very excited to be a part of Clean the World’s global mission and to continuing our support of programs that give back to the community and reduce waste and expense.”
It’s estimated that 3.5 million children die each year as a result of diseases that can be prevented by simple hand-washing.  Clean the World donates recycled soap and other hygiene products to 50 countries and is working toward the goal of saving 1 million children’s lives annually.
“We hope to be an inspiration to other hotels and resorts in Wyoming looking for ways to implement programs that support sustainability,” adds Benson.  “Clean the World has created a truly revolutionary program by recycling products that would otherwise be discarded by hotels, and using those products to help save lives.”
