Bad Behaviour To Screen At Melbourne Underground Film Festival
Joseph Sims’ Bad Behaviour is premiering at MUFF and will delight fans of Tarantino and the Coen brothers as well as general violence-hounds and lovers of slick ‘n’ sick Aussie cinema. Starring John Jarratt of Wolf Creek.
‘Bad Behaviour’ is the debut feature film of writer/director Joseph Sims. The film stars Australian acting legend John Jarratt (Wolf Creek) a long with Lindsay Farris (Primal), Jean Kittson (Good News Week), Roger Ward (Mad Max), Dwaine Stevenson (Gabriel) and Robert Coleby (The Phantom). Kris Maric, Steven Caldwell and Craig A Kocinski are the producing team behind the project.
The weekend is about to kick off. With the ocean calm, the weather warm and the sun setting over the hills, two psychopathic siblings - Emma and Peterson, pit stop on their road trip of bloodshed at the sleepy beach-side town of Cecil Bay.
‘Bad Behaviour’ will have you on the precipice of intrigue as you are thrown into Emma and Peterson’s encounter with their fierce predator and debt collector Voyte Parker; a cop confronting the people who murdered his son; and the day a man finds his wife is cheating on him. ‘Bad Behaviour’ joins the intersecting storylines of murderers, coppers, teachers and teenagers; exposing their eventual demise. This black comedy/neo-noir picture embodies the very same ‘cool’ of the beach side town it’s set in, providing you with an eerie fantasy landscape characterized by a fusion of graphic violence and punchy dialogue.
In the coming weeks an official press kit, teaser trailer, preview poster and website will be released in preparation for Bad Behaviour's entry into the film festival circuit. The first production still released for the film can be seen at http://beat.com.au/
