Olympic Icons Motivate Corporations and Consumers!

July 9, 2010 - PRLog -- PMG's Olympic Icons Bruce Jenner, Dara Torres, Mark Spitz, Rowdy Gaines, and Janet Evans are some of the speakers traveling the country sharing their inspiration and motivational journeys to the top. The icons share their stories at corporate events, meetings and workshops for companies such as AARP, First Citizens Bank, Cisco, Medtronic, Century 21, and the National Business Travel Association and others, the athletes are continuing to captivate audiences with their messages of teamwork, peak performance, excellence and the Olympic Dream & Spirit.

Additionally, current Olympic athletes such as Nastia Liukin, Amanda Beard, Jason Lezak, Eric Shanteau, and Cullen Jones are traveling to share their individual stories with groups across the country.

Olympic Icons and  mothers Dara Torres, Amanda Beard, and Janet Evans often share their story of achieving and managing Olympic success and business success while raising their children.

Jason Lezak, who is also a father, is most well known for his outstanding performance in the 2008 Summer Games. Here,  he co-captained and showed true team spirit when he anchored the notorious 400m free relay that instantly made history. Along with training, Lezak holds clinics, speaks, and is the ambassador for Maccabi USA which builds Jewish pride through sports.

Cancer survivor Eric Shanteau shares his story of being diagnosed with testicular cancer weeks before the 2008 Olympic Trials and his decision to postpone treatment in order to go for his dream. Now cancer free, the World Champion often visits hospitals and speaks at cancer related events providing hope for patients and a bond with survivors.

After Cullen Jones nearly drowned at the age of 5, his mother enrolled him in swim lessons which changed his life. Now as an Olympic Gold Medalist, Jones is on a mission to minimize the number of African-American children drowning each year, he holds swim clinics and speaks to raise the importance of water safety.

Sharing the bond of representing our country in the Olympic Games, each athlete brings a different light to the experience. The icons who once inspired our nation through sport continue to inspire through words. Now mothers, fathers, cancer survivors and innovators, Olympic athletes are continuing to motivate and push audiences to new heights.
