Completed nomination forms must be submitted by August 13, 2010. Help recognize an older worker by filling out a simple form.

“Older workers are a vital part of our community and workforce,” said Dr. Lewis Chartock, President and CEO of MERS/Goodwill. “We admire our older workers for their strength and compassion.  Older workers in our community are great examples of reliability, dependability and wisdom. The Older Worker of the Year contest is a fantastic way to show our appreciation for all they do.”

Nominees must be 65 or older, employed at least 20 hours a week, and display dependability and new skills on the job.  The winner and regional finalists will be recognized at a two-day awards ceremony in September in Jefferson City.
