Free Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist Program celebrates 2 year anniversary!

July 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Stonebrook Dental and Dr.Nathan Haas reaches two year milestone in running the free Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist Program!

Two years ago the toddler and child dental program was developed to provide free examination, cleaning and education to children of Toronto. It has turned into a huge success, over time hundreds of young children have been seen in the Saturday program that runs every two months. The team at Stonebrook Dental takes pride that they have introduced so many young children to dentistry in a positive way. Initially upon visiting the office many children were frightened or reserved (some parents as well) but by the end of the 1/2 hour visit the toddlers were comfortable with the dental chair, dental instruments, the dental office and were excited to come back again. The objectives of the program;  introducing dentistry in a fun/[positive way and educating parents on the importance of primary (baby) teeth, oral health and diet on oral health, were met.

Many more dates are planned for the Toddler/Child Day at the Dentist program and they book up quickly. "We have to schedule two or three dates in advance as so many people are calling to book appointments for their children," says Dr.Nathan Haas the dentist at Stonebrook Dental.
