"The creative minds and energies of our in-house student filmmakers co-produced Recycled Parts" said Josh Sands, HWFAA Faculty Director. "Out of this production grew our 6-month Ultimate Acting Program, in which our full time acting students are cast in a variety of our productions, including feature films, shorts, and webisodes." said Larry Sands, teacher, filmmaker and actor at HWFAA.

"Actors move to Los Angeles with big aspirations and hopes of working and building an acting career. There are countless distractions in LA, HWFAA's 6 Month Acting Program and 16 Week Film Making Program keep actors and filmmakers focused on their work, preparing them with all the necessary tools to become working actors and filmmakers". said Brad Milne, HWFAA manager, teacher and resident actor. "By creating a community environment here our students have access to on-campus free housing at the Actors House LA while getting direct support from their peers and faculty, a model completely unique to the Los Angeles acting and filmmaking community". Milne went on to say.

About The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy

The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy centered in the heart of Hollywood offers: Amazing Classes, Great footage for Demo Reels, A place to live, and Exposure for new and up and coming actors and filmmakers. We created our filmmaking and acting programs to teach the business, the emotional and the creative side of acting and filmmaking while informing and preparing our students on how to network in the business. We are different because the entertainment industry is changing, our graduates not only have to be good at acting and making movies, but they also need to understand that it’s a business and they have to know how to be professional, how to take tough criticism and know how to promote themselves. Our students learn to act in and make movies from concept to completion, making short movies and feature length films. We teach filmmakers writing, producing, directing, cinematography and editing. Our acting program includes: voice, movement, improvisation, techniques, scene study, working on camera, character development, the audition process from first call through screen test, booking the job and working on set.
