A lot of guys know me as the author of the best-selling book Mack Tactics, which has taught thousands of men how to turbo-charge their "dating game" with women. In that book, I explain how to use a "cocky & playful" approach to make woman feel curiosity and attraction towards you.

This means never answering her questions directly (instead of giving a direct answer, play it off with a joke); never asking HER the typical questions ("so what's your name," "where are you from," etc), and using CREATIVE conversation instead; and it also means teasing women and "busting on them" from time to time. Not in a harsh, rude way, but in a playful ways that communicates something very important to her: that you're not a typical guy who is hoping to impress her and "win" her.

Should you handle Asian women the same way? Well, yes and no.

Asian women are different, and a lot of this has to do with their culture and the way they were raised. Growing up, they watched a LOT of local "romantic serials" on television. (In America, we call them "soap operas.") In these shows, the handsome lead actor is always treating his woman like gold, being super "sweet" and "caring" and tending to her needs.

The usual storyline involves a guy trying to win over the girl, but she keeps turning him down -- but he keeps at it until he does something dramatic to "touch her heart." Then she gives in and melts, and they live happily ever after.

Asian women are deeply influenced by this stuff. They're conditioned to expect this same type of courtship in their own lives.  



Sure, there are less-traditional Asian women who go for "bad boys." But most well-raised Asian women would rather die than embarrass their families, so they would never be seen in public with a guy who wears shabby clothes and has a lot of tattoos (no matter how "cool" other women might think he is).

This means you cannot act like some wanna-be "pickup artist," using "lines" on her and immediately flirting with her in a sexual way.

The rules of attraction change a bit when you're learning how to date Asian women.

But it's definitely OK to pay an Asian women a compliment on how nice she looks. With American women, I don't advise you to do this. (They take this as a sign that you're just another desperate guy trying to hook up with them.) But Asian women, because they are so feminine and take great pride in their appearance, they will be flattered if you pay them a sincere compliment on how nice they look today.

(She might blush and act shy when you do it, but she'll be flattered and touched.)

With Asian women, it's also very important to demonstrate masculine behavior. One thing we all love about Asian women is their femininity. They are perfectly feminine creatures. (Unlike American women, who have been taught to try to "wear the pants" in a relationship, and will go out in public wearing a baseball cap and baggy clothes. You won't see Asian women dressing this way -- my Asian girlfriends spend an hour doing her hair and makeup just to go the store! And they always look amazing...)
