Landmark tower to illuminate in red, white in blue for July 4th weekend

July 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Every day, Miami Tower (formerly the Bank of America Tower at Int. Place) changes its color scheme to coincide with national holidays, causes and other special occasions. This weekend, hundreds of thousands of South Floridians will watch Downtown Miami’s iconic office building light up the City’s skyline to commemorate America’s independence.
•   WHAT: Miami Tower will be illuminated in a flood of red, white and blue in honor of Independence Day.

•   WHEN: Sundown on Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4, 2010

•   PHOTO OP: Miami Tower awash in red, white, and blue. The Tower can be photographed from points throughout Downtown Miami, including Biscayne Boulevard, Flagler Street and the Miami Riverwalk.

Miami Tower is a 600,000 square-foot, I.M. Pei-designed office tower in Downtown Miami. The tower has earned ‘icon’ status for its changing palette of exterior lighting schemes timed to coincide with holidays, sporting events and other significant occasions.
