July 1, 2010 - PRLog -- London –Following the report by the New York Times regarding Afghanistan’s discovery of vast amounts of mineral deposits analyst’s at Resource Rich Land International discussed possibilities of helping to provide mining infrastructure through partnerships of mining experts and companies, to assist and obtain contracts from the Afghan government.

“While there is a large amount of risk associated with doing business in an area like Afghanistan, rewards that could be reaped from establishing business far outweigh the possible setbacks” said newly hired expansion expert Steven Holders of RRLI.

The United States Geological Survey estimated the mineral wealth to total well over $1 trillion, but Afghan President Hamid Karzai said in a recent trip to Washington to meet with President Obama that he believes the combined worth of the lithium, gold, iron, copper, cobalt and other minerals could be well over $3 trillion.

These deposits, if managed properly could transform Afghanistan overnight into the Saudi Arabia of lithium. The value and pursuit of lithium mining has exploded with the expansion of lithium ion batteries in the electronic devices we have come to depend more and more on.

RRLI has begun conversations with top government officials, and controlling groups within the Ghazni Province in an effort to begin reaching out to form a partnership of organizations within mining looking for a chance to establish a profitable and beneficial operation with Afghanistan.
