Friends of Joshua Orphan Care Hosts Fundraiser With Entertainment By Steven Ybarra

June 30, 2010 - PRLog -- CARLSBAD, CA –  Friends of Joshua Orphan Care is a charity for orphan care, working in nineteen isolated rural communities in Malawi, Africa.  It supports community-driven sustainable development projects, to assist HIV/AIDS orphans, vulnerable children, and their families.  The local chapter will host a wine-tasting fundraiser Saturday, July 17 from 7:00 - 10:00 PM at the ICON building, 321 10th Ave, San Diego CA.  Proceeds will go orphaned children in need of sponsorship to attend secondary school.

Steven Ybarra, one of San Diego’s renown contemporary/Christian singers, will provide the evening’s entertainment, (from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM) singing songs about hope, love and perseverance from his current CD, Love Love Love, and new songs from his upcoming CD release.   Steven is last year’s winner of the “Best Acoustic” San Diego Music Award, an honor rightfully earned by his moving lyrics, inspirational music, and powerful vocals.
