PARCEL||XPRESS - Intelligent Solutions for Parcel Shipping

Comparing service options, freight costs and delivery performance is a complex, time consuming task for today’s businesses.  Small and medium sized operations often deal with several service providers, depending on which of them fits their budgets and service requirements.

But sending out parcels has now become easier. AEB (International) Ltd’s online application PARCEL||XPRESS provides transparency of tariffs and options, as well as expedited handling and convenience. It is a central online platform for everything: different providers, comparisons, shipment processing, label and manifest print and EDI transmissions, with only one printer and in compliance with all the individual carrier’s specifications.  

AEB’s internet solution combines and displays the leading parcel services in one single web-screen and enables users to quickly view and compare options for prices and transit times – all they have to do is enter the destination and the parcel specification. Once a carrier has been selected, a few more clicks will print the relevant labels and manifests before automatically transmitting the shipping data to the respective carrier. This is a convenient solution, particularly for mail departments or businesses without dedicated logistics management.

PARCEL||XPRESS also offers a virtual ASSISTant that runs plausibility checks in the background and points out missing information or provides recommendations on how to proceed. Additional benefits include the automatic transfer of orders from users’ ERP systems to the PARCEL||XPRESS platform and links to the ERP address book for quick and easy access to all parcel consignees. Integrated compliance solutions from AEB ensure the secure handling of all shipments to known and authorised consignees only.

Templates can be created for often-used parcel sizes, dimensions and consignees, providing for even faster processing. Standard carrier rates available in the system will apply and are regularly updated by AEB. Furthermore, individual freight rates and carrier contracts will be entered and maintained by AEB, too. Once a delivery has been set up in PARCEL||XPRESS, the application also assists in “closing the loop” by automatically creating a consignee shipment notification email, including a link to the respective carrier’s tracking website.
