The Search for California's Next MMA Superstar!

The Combat Fight League (CFL) is opening its doors to all serious amateur MMA prospects ready to compete against the best California has to offer.

June 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The CFL formula is simple: Take the best amateur MMA fighters in California; Give them an opportunity to compete to gain experience and exposure; Give them goals to drive them: The opportunity to win the coveted CFL belt and more importantly, opening a door to a pro circuit.

“The ultimate goal for any serious fighter is to make it to the UFC, or for the smaller fighters – WEC. But NO ONE is walking into either of those organizations without a serious professional resume. And building that resume starts at the amateur ranks. To be the best you have to continuously compete against AND beat the best” says Julius Mojica co-owner of Dojo Fightgear and co-founder of CFL. He continues “CFL promises to allow these great fighters the chance to compete against other great fighters and take steps towards that goal of the UFC or WEC. The experience alone will be priceless.”

West Coast Jiu Jitsu (located at 2945 Los Olivos in Oxnard, CA) will host the CFL events and the owner, operator and instructor of West Coast and CFL co-founder, Brian Espinoza, has plenty of experience with amateur fighters. Brian was the official amateur match maker for the now defunct organization National Fight Alliance, NFA.

Interested AMATEUR MMA fighters who would like to compete in CFL must register at:
