Compatibility and Safety Protection
Solar battery panel can work with most of laptops such as HP, ACER, SONY and etc. However, maybe there is a compatibility problem with Dell laptop charging connection. There are much complaints about the laptops not recognizing the supply. Dell is about the only OEM to use the signal. Abuse of the power cord can result in a broken signal lead. So, before you buy a charger, keep in mind that require for the compatibility issues. As safety protection, make sure extra electricity is never sent to your electronic devices, and short circuit protection-- to protect your electronics when accidentally connected with an incompatible adapter tip.
