Financial advisers launch new legacy service

June 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Eastbourne-based financial advisers Platinum Portfolios has launched a new service for its clients, designed to make it easier for a person’s loved ones to sort out their financial affairs in the event of their death.

They have devised a simple booklet, which is free to download from the Platinum website, where clients can record essential information, such as the location of their will and any funeral wishes.

The booklet can also hold financial details including the contact details for their solicitors, accountants, stockbroker and bank and a summary of shares, property, savings accounts and any other assets they hold.

It is hoped that by filling out the booklet and keeping it in a safe place, and lodging a second copy with Platinum, an individual’s surviving relatives and loved ones will be able to sort through their financial affairs more easily and avoid any costly surprises later on.
