The Manyagroup - Princeton Review - ISB Scholarship Disbursement Ceremony

June 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Hyderabad, 17 June 2010 – Manya Education Pvt. Ltd. (MEPL), the business partner of The Princeton Review organised an award ceremony to distribute the awards to its students who had qualified for the ISB – Manya scholarship programs launched in 2009 for the academic year 2009-2010. These scholarships was open to students who had subscribed to test preparation and admissions counselling services at any of Manya’s 19 centers across the country, and were successful in receiving admission into the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. The total value of these scholarships is INR 6.5 lakhs and are awarded to those students who have received an admission offer & joined The ISB Hyderabad one year Full Time Post Graduate Programme in Management.

Ms. Araddhana K Mahna, Managing Director of Manya Group along with Mr.A.M Kannan, Admissions Director at ISB were present at the launch which took place at The Princeton Review Himayatnagar center, in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Araddhana K Mahna said, “Manyagroup/Princeton Review wishes to support the academic endeavours of high potential individuals who have subscribed to its services in order to realise their dream of getting admission into top B-schools such as ISB”.

ISB’s one year Full Time Post Graduate Programme in Management has emerged as the preferred choice for MBA aspirants in our country. The purpose behind The Manyagroup/Princeton Review – ISB Scholarship is to give financial assistance and to motivate and support student’s academic pursuits as future MBA graduates. Manya group is considering the launch of similar scholarships for the year 2010 -11 and will make the official announcements soon.

An ‘MBA and GMAT Information Session’ was also conducted on the occasion to benefit the large group of GMAT and ISB aspirants who had gathered to get a better understanding of the GMAT and MBA options. The scholarship winners shared their first-hand experiences with the audience.

The Awards - MEPL offers the following awards once its clients have received an offer of admission & joined The ISB Hyderabad one year Full Time Post Graduate Programme in Management:

1.   Three awards of Rs 150,000/- each to its clients who have subscribed to both its GMAT classroom preparation programme AND its Premium Admissions Counselling Service.
2.   Two awards of Rs 50,000/- each to its clients who have subscribed to its GMAT classroom preparation programme.
3.   One award of Rs 100,000/- to a client who had subscribed to its Premium Admissions Counselling Service AND enters the Dean’s List based on meritorious performance on the ISB PGP.
In order to receive these awards, beneficiaries must meet the following eligibility criteria:
4.   Be a GMAT test preparation client at a TPR centre operated by MEPL in Chandigarh, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai or Bangalore (required for Awards 1 & 2**).
5.   Be a Premium Admissions Counselling Service/ISB admissions counselling client (required for Award 3).
6.   Produce in original an ISB admission letter for its one year Full Time Post Graduate Programme in Management.
