June 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, North Carolina – Old Clyde was lucky. So was Charlie and Shadow. But not Chloe. We found foster homes for Old Clyde, Shadow and Charlie. But not for Chloe so she had to be euthanized. The truth is that if we don't find foster homes for pets, they will be put down due to lack of space at animal shelters.

The Pet Foster Network wishes to “tell the world” about the joys and needs of pet fostering. Every animal rescue groups and shelters in North Carolina rely on the generosity of volunteers to open their homes to friendly pets until they are adopted. Foster homes are on the front lines of every animal rescue groups and shelters and have a direct impact on the number of animals we are able to save. Fostering can last a few days or several months. All veterinary care are paid. Food and litter may also be provided.

You can help us recruit foster homes for pets! When you donate to the Pet Foster Network's "Tell the World!" campaign, you allow us to spread our message on radio stations all across North Carolina and support our work matching friendly pets with foster homes until they are adopted.

We collected $450 so far. Help us meet our fundraising goal of $7,000 today! Donate $10 to the Pet Foster Network and be entered into a drawing to win a week in a beautiful villa in either Tuscany or Rome!
