June 24, 2010 - PRLog -- If you were to get back to basics then you may notice that the two most popular types of shoes or sandals in Japan are the Geta and the Zori. These sandals come in varied colors and people opt according to their outfits, however, the most common colors picked from the stores are red and black.

These wooden getas come in a heel type where the wearer has to lean forward while walking and this is not exactly comfortable for many. Vinyl Geta are the most popular in Japan and also are the most common ones that ladies opt for. Zori sandals on the other hand are plain and simple flat sandals that are comfortable to wear.

If we were to look at the daily sandals then the Tatami would be the best ones. These are made up of straw like mats and hence can easily be worn for having that comfortable day at office.

Also, many ladies love to wear boots that are long, until the knee length when they opt for wearing miniskirts or shorts. Then there are Vinyl Zori sandals that are worn on formal occasions when the women don the kimono costume.
