Assistance League® of Raleigh Prepares for Annual Meeting

Local Nonprofit To Publicly Announce New Board on June 24th

June 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC: Triangle nonprofit Assistance League® of Raleigh has announced the approach of their annual meeting, which will be open to the public. The meeting will be held at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh on June 24th. Doors will be open to attendees for a brief period of socialization beginning at 10:30 AM. The official proceedings will then begin at 11:00, and will be followed by a lunch at 12:15.

The proceedings will involve reviews and assessments of the previous year’s productivity and discussion of the current year’s events, including Assistance League of Raleigh’s flagship fundraiser, Festival of Trees®. Voting members of the organization will then examine and weigh-in on important issues determining Assistance League of Raleigh’s course of action in the coming years.

The event will also function as a yearly kickoff meeting, and, as such, will culminate in the all-important announcement of the organization’s newly selected 2011 board members.
