The primary purpose of the conference is to bring together the best and brightest minds who are interested in being involved with the opportunities presented by the green movement in our cities and businesses alike. The Conference will include keynote speakers and panelists who are green movement thought leaders including Susan Dorn, General Counsel of the U.S. Green Building Council; Paul Lippe, CEO of Legal OnRamp and Steve Harmon, Sr. Director Legal Services for Cisco. Other notables include former Secretary of the Louisiana Mineral Board Marjorie A. McKeithen, former Kraft Foods Chief Counsel Theodore L. Attendees will learn about mitigating environmental risk, compliance with EPA, DOJ, OSHA and regulatory bodies, guidelines for SMART cities, green building architecture, and how to structure a green legal practice. Conference topics will range from Working Smarter with Green, to Green Products and Remediation to LEEDigation. The conference will also include CLE credits, an opportunity to rub elbows with colleagues and peers, and a LEED® pre-certification training course.
