Composer and guitarist igOr OGOGO reveals “BACH”

Los Angeles, CA  – June 21, 2010 – Guitarist and composer igOr OGOGO, will make public his album for III Records titled BACH – interpretations of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach.

IgOr OGOGO sets out to bring his special versions of the music of J.S. Bach with an added contemporary bend employing an organic mix of direct and processed electric guitars. This vibrant recording symbolizes a come back to igOr’s affection and obsession for the music of J.S. Bach and guitar music, an important ingredient of his artistic foundation.

“I am constantly astonished and in admiration of the inventiveness, technical challenges, and brilliance of Bach genius. It is a real honor and awe-inspiring labor to contribute to the performing legacy of Bach music. It has been such a joy to work on an album that showcases the compositions of J.S. This collection not only emphasizes igOr OGOGO’s guitar, arranging and technical dexterity, but brings to light his distinctive way of  interpretations which have been a trademark of his artistic life. For an album, igOr chose diverse compositions from Bach that consist of selections from: Well Tempered Clavier, Cello Suite, Orchestra Suite, Lute and Organ works.
