Follow on Google News | “The Web.Files” Director/Producer Sandra J. Payne Announces her Departure“The Web.Files” gives viewers the inside scoop on the hottest series and celebs on the web.
“It’s been a fantastic year,” Payne said. “Working with Kristyn has been a wonderful experience as she is a consummate professional. She makes my job a pleasure as she always brings her A-game to every shoot. She’s also been the point person for selecting many of the shows that we cover and has built an extensive roster of friends and contacts in the web community – all good things for the continued success of The Web.Files.” As the originator of the show’s concept, Burtt will continue production of The Web.Files under her own banner. Payne’s departure stems from her desire to return to her work in the fiction world, including both feature writing and web content. Her first web series, Life with Kat & McKay, is still in production and will wrap season one this summer. Plans are in the works to shoot a second season in early fall. Payne also will also work on producing branded entertainment. By the time Payne wraps her final show for The Web.Files, she will have directed and helped produce more than 50 shows, representing more than 400 minutes of uploaded, edited content. She also had the pleasure of producing the coverage of the 2010 Streamy Craft Awards, as well as the live stream of the 2010 Streamy Awards red carpet, which Burtt helped cover. Since its debut, The Web.Files has racked up tens of thousands of hits for its weekly serial talk show.
