Poll reveals Davina McCall as celeb people would most like in their phone book

June 16, 2010 - PRLog -- In a new opinion poll of 1,845 people by www.rightmobilephone.co.uk, Davina McCall has been revealed as the celebrity respondents would most like to have the phone number of, with 81% of people agreeing. The main reason given for this was her ‘personality’, something which 63% liked.

Next on the list of celebrities people would most like to have in their phone book was Paris Hilton, with 74% of the vote. Whilst Paris scored low for her ‘personality’ with just 9% of the vote it was her ‘social status’ that the majority, 54%, were attracted to.

Simon Cowell came in third on the list with 73% admitting they would like to have his phone number. The main reason given was his ‘influence’ with 84% agreeing that his power was what made him appealing to have in their contact list.

The top ten celebrities people would most like to have in their phonebook, as voted for in the poll by http://www.rightmobilephone.co.uk are;

Robbie Williams came in at number five in the poll, with 62% of respondents claiming they would like to have him in their contact list. The main reasons given for this were his ‘sense of humour’ and ‘personality’, with 43% and 36% respectively.

“Essentially, our latest poll has given an example of what respondents feel is the ultimate celebrity contact list. Initially, we were expecting to see people picking mostly attractive celebrities, like Brad Pitt or Megan Fox, as the stars they would most like to be able to text or call, but it seems respondents were more inclined to go for personality and sense of humour over appearance.

“We were glad to see Davina McCall at the top of the poll, as she has become a household name during her time presenting Big Brother and people obviously value her enthusiasm and good character. It was very amusing to see that respondents didn’t rate Paris Hilton’s personality; people obviously were more bothered about what clubs and parties she could potentially get them in to!”
