Author Diedra Cole Now Available For Speaking Engagements and Personal Appearances

June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- All her life, Diedra Cole has faced adversity.  Instead of giving into her difficulties, Cole has decided to use her story to motivate others who face hard times.  The books in her "Three Strikes" series, an inspirational series of books geared towards those who face similar hardships, explore what Cole calls her "strikes," or her disadvantages.  In the series, Cole relates her experiences with being a woman, being disabled, and being African American.

While Cole's message has reached countless people through the medium of writing, she has recently decided to expand her audience by making personal appearances and holding speaking engagements.

The most important part of the writing process for Cole is that she gets her message to as many people as possible.  By reaching out to others by speaking to them, in addition to her writing, Cole hopes that she will be able to reach an audience that her books do not.  During her appearances, Cole will promote her new book, Three Strikes: A Soldier's Story, which contains simple truths that will benefit listeners and readers of all ages.  
 
"I am so excited to reach out to people personally, in addition to through my writing," Cole remarks, "I want every person to feel inspired, to feel motivated enough to know that they can do anything, regardless of their 'strikes.'"    

Cole wishes to share her experiences and her message with anyone who faces adversity and would be a wonderful guest at disability support group meetings, military functions, school and church meetings, and anywhere else where inspiration and motivation are welcome.
