New Bankruptcy Service in Holland

June 18, 2010 - PRLog -- The Holland Bankruptcy Center has opened in downtown Holland offering affordable personal bankruptcy services in the Holland, Grand Haven, Zeeland and surrounding areas.

Recognizing that people suffering through financial stress couldn’t afford huge legal bills on top of everything else, Attorney Amy Szilagyi decided to open the Holland Bankruptcy Center to provide Bankruptcy Relief services to the people most vulnerable in an uncertain economy.

“There’s something wrong when someone has done everything they’re supposed to do; worked hard all their life, paid their bills on time and now, because of events totally out of their control, they can’t even afford to file for bankruptcy because they’ve lost their job or had some medical situation.”

Amy’s parents ran their own small business in Indianapolis for 15 years before retiring to Wisconsin. She herself has a business background, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and having worked as a compliance officer in the banking industry before attending Law School at The University of Michigan. She understands what people face trying to operate on a small budget.

No huge office complex with gold plated bathroom fixtures, no double wide parking spaces for the BMWs, Mercedes Benzes and Lexus SUVs of the attorneys. The Holland Bankruptcy Center has parking reserved for clients only; even Amy parks her minivan offsite and walks to the office. And the conference room, kitchenette and bathrooms are all shared with the other occupants of the office suite in the downtown Holland location.

By focusing primarily on Chapter 7 Bankruptcy services and maintaining a minimal staff, the Holland Bankruptcy Center concentrates on keeping its own costs down and, in turn, provides services to its clients for less. “Our most expensive service is priced where most other firms start out and go DOWN from there, our prices are determined on a case-by-case basis.”

The Holland Bankruptcy Center offers free bankruptcy consultations by appointment only and they are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
