Dr. Glenn Gaesser Keynote at NAAFA’s HAES Summit!

June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Oakland, CA - NAAFA is honored to announce that Dr. Glenn Gaesser will be the keynote speaker at NAAFA’s first HAES (Health At Every Size) Summit to be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel.

Dr. Gaesser is a Professor, Director of the Exercise and Wellness Program and Director of the Healthy Lifestyles Research Center at the College of Nursing and Health Innovation located at Arizona State University. His research interests include the health benefits of exercise and diet independent of weight loss. Dr. Gaesser is the author of many publications and wrote the groundbreaking book, Big Fat Lies: The Truth about Your Weight and Your Health

Dr. Gaesser’s Summit speech is entitled, The Obesity Paradox: The Inconvenient Truth about Body Fat, Health and Longevity.

Panel sessions at the Summit will cover a myriad of topics by psychologists, researchers, public health and other professionals who incorporate the Health At Every Size (HAES) tenets in their work.
