The America Of My Dreams

The highly acclaimed book by corporate financial expert, Domenic Sgambellone (pronounced skam-bell-owe-nee), has been hailed for its bold but common sense approach demonstrating the need for changes in America’s legislature.

Domenic Sgambellone doesn’t see the land of opportunity, a great nation granting personal freedoms and liberty to all its citizens that existed forty-seven years ago when he immigrated to the United States of America.

Instead, he now sees greed, corruption and bad policy decisions!

“I love America,” declared Domenic, “and America has been very good to me. But after witnessing the vast corruption and the bad policies that have been placed upon us, I became angry and I had to speak out!”

About Domenic Sgambellone

Born in the Southern Italian region of Calabria, Domenic Sgambellone was the middle child between an older brother and younger sister.
While securing his degree in secondary education, Domenic excelled in both track and field as well as soccer.

In 1963, Domenic moved to the United States and became a working student in route to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Peters College in 1970.

Still determined to further his education, Domenic attended Seton Hall University where he was presented with an MBA in Finance, in 1974.
Raised with strong family values, Domenic married a young Italian lady named Alba and today, the happy couple is extremely proud of their two sons, daughter and grandchild.

As his children were growing up, Domenic gave back to his community as a volunteer youth coach and hopes to do more coaching during retirement.

In 1989, Domenic pioneered a concept of self insurance for the construction industry in Rhode Island which forever changed the way the industry conducted business.

On his way to becoming an expert in corporate finance, Domenic restructured several businesses by streamlining their operating costs and earned a reputation as a ‘turn-around” man.

Today, he is an accomplished author and enjoys spending time with his “little buddy” (as he calls his grandson).  He is an avid reader and keeps up with the ever changing news.
